Senior Project Manager – SAP Company Code Split

Location: Onsite in Västerås, Sweden

Start Date: ASAP or no later than 2025-06-02

End Date: 2026-02-02

Assignment Overview

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager with strong SAP experience to lead a high-priority SAP company code split initiative. This is a critical, time-sensitive project requiring exceptional planning, coordination, and delivery skills. The role involves managing end-to-end execution, including design, team leadership, system migration, and stakeholder communication, to ensure successful project completion within the defined timeline and budget.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Strategy

Develop and maintain a detailed project plan including scope, timeline, milestones, resources, and budget

Align project goals with overall business objectives and ensure stakeholder buy-in

Team Leadership & Coordination

Lead cross-functional teams including SAP experts, business stakeholders, and external vendors

Foster collaboration and accountability across the project team

Execution & Monitoring

Ensure timely execution of all project phases while tracking milestones and deliverables

Proactively identify and mitigate risks; develop contingency plans when necessary

Manage scope, timeline, and budget with full ownership of project delivery

Stakeholder Communication

Maintain continuous communication with stakeholders at all levels

Provide regular status updates and escalate issues proactively when required

Ensure all project outputs meet agreed quality and compliance standards

Data Migration & System Configuration

Plan and manage the migration of financial data, including General Ledger (GL), inventory, and master data

Oversee SAP system configuration changes to reflect new company code structure

Testing, Validation & Go-Live Support

Conduct end-to-end testing of business processes and technical configurations

Validate system integrity, financial reporting, and inventory accuracy under the new setup

Provide hands-on support post-implementation to ensure a smooth transition and minimal business disruption

Required Skills & Experience

Proven track record as a Project Manager for complex SAP projects, ideally within company code split or finance transformation contexts

Deep understanding of SAP system landscape and financial data structures

Experience with data migration, SAP system configuration, and testing processes

Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Ability to deliver results under tight deadlines

Previous experience with the client is a strong advantage

Additional Requirements

Must be able to work onsite in Västerås throughout the duration of the assignment

Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
