Assignment Description

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Designer – Plastic Development to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on

• Contribute to the conceptualization phase of cab development, focusing on structural parts of the instrument panel
• Develop innovative design solutions that balance technical feasibility with cross-functional requirements
• Work within agile in-house delivery team in close partnership with the customer
• Ensure seamless integration by collaborating with stakeholders across design, engineering, and suppliers
• Support overall installation responsibilities owned by the team
• Participate in regular interactions at offices in Stockholm/Södertälje, with flexibility to visit the customer site as needed
• Option to work remotely if you bring the right level of experience and independence

What you bring

• An engineering degree combined with strong drive, creativity, and a solution-oriented mindset
• Minimum 10 years of experience in plastic design, preferably with cab development expertise
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and interface effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong technical competence and independence in using the CATIA design tool
• Excellent communication skills to engage with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and partners
• Availability to start as soon as possible, with readiness to contribute immediately in a high-paced environment
