Assignment Description

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure reliable, efficient, and secure delivery pipelines
• Automate infrastructure, monitoring, and deployment processes to improve scalability and reliability
• Support the transition towards cloud-native solutions and modern DevOps practices
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and contribute to continuous integration and delivery improvements
• Work with containerization technologies and infrastructure as code to ensure consistent deployments
• Support database management, ETL processes, and integration with analytics platforms
• Contribute to observability, monitoring, and compliance efforts across systems and environments

What you bring

• Experience with Apache Spark and distributed data processing frameworks
• Hands-on cloud experience, ideally with Google Cloud Platform
• Knowledge of containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform
• Strong skills in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Programming experience with Python and SQL
• Familiarity with database management and ETL processes
• Experience with on-premise stacks such as Apache NiFi, Apache Airflow, or the Cloudera ecosystem is an advantage
• Proficiency in Scala for Spark is a strong plus (Python also relevant)
• Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools, Elasticsearch, and Kibana
• Familiarity with YAML, Linux, and Windows environments, including strong CLI skills
• Experience with GCP Dataproc and Event Hubs is meritorious
• Strong communication skills in English, with Swedish considered an advantage
• Flexible, delivery-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
