Assignment Description

We are looking for a Senior Build Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on

• Design and implement a Bazel-based build architecture to support multiple game clients
• Lead the migration from CMake to Bazel and optimize C++ build flows for performance and scalability
• Train and mentor development teams in Bazel and BuildBuddy to build internal expertise
• Document processes, establish best practices, and enhance the overall developer experience
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align build solutions with project goals

What you bring

• Extensive hands-on experience with Bazel in large-scale C++ projects
• Proven track record of build system migrations, ideally from CMake to Bazel
• Strong knowledge of Starlark and multi-platform builds across Windows, Linux, macOS, iOS, and Android
• Solid background in C/C++ development and build pipelines
• Ability to design and deliver workshops, effectively transferring knowledge to diverse teams
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Advantageous experience with BuildBuddy and/or open-source contributions within the Bazel ecosystem
• Strong communication and pedagogical skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts
• Analytical, solution-oriented mindset, motivated by improving development workflows and team efficiency
