Assignment Description

We are looking for a Senior ESG Data Governance Specialist to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on

• Ensure ESG data quality, traceability, and compliance with regulatory and strategic requirements
• Act as a link between business and IT to establish shared understanding of ESG data
• Identify, document, and define critical data elements and develop a common conceptual model
• Secure complete data lineage from source to consumption
• Support data quality monitoring and initiate corrective actions where needed
• Contribute to agile teams with analysis of data quality incidents and new data initiatives

What you bring

• Academic degree in data science, computer science, economics, or equivalent experience
• 2–5 years of experience in data-centric roles (data management, governance, reporting, or processing), preferably in banking
• Strong understanding of data management and governance, including data quality, metadata, information modeling, and data protection
• Knowledge of data processing and integration (SQL, ETL, data warehouse)
• Experience with analysis and reporting tools such as Excel, MicroStrategy, or Power BI
• Familiarity with ESG regulations (CSRD, SFDR, EU taxonomy) and banking regulations (BCBS239, GDPR) is an advantage
• Experience in agile ways of working and collaboration with IT
• Fluency in Swedish and English, spoken and written
• Structured, analytical, and detail-oriented approach
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate between business and IT
• Solution-oriented and self-driven mindset, capable of navigating complex contexts
