Assignment Description

We are looking for a Senior Marine Compliance & Regulations Consultant to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on

• Support the full R&D process by preparing and managing documentation for classification societies.
• Ensure regulatory documentation is submitted, reviewed, and approved according to required standards.
• Manage feedback and revisions from classification bodies and drive the documentation cycle to completion.
• Participate in inspections together with DNV, manage deviations, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct risk analyses for new and evolving technologies, including foil-based active flight systems.
• Act as a key liaison between R&D, manufacturing, and compliance teams to ensure regulatory alignment.
• Provide practical and technical support in compliance and regulatory matters across the organization.

What you bring

• Broad maritime understanding, including ship operations, stability, structure, electrical systems, and safety equipment.
• Proven experience in applying and interpreting maritime regulations to determine compliance levels.
• Experience working with classification societies such as DNV and familiarity with documentation workflows.
• Background in risk analysis, compliance assessments, and regulatory mapping across different jurisdictions.
• Ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams, providing clear guidance on regulatory matters.
• Understanding of RCR processes and experience supporting production follow-up.
• Practical shipboard or inspection experience providing hands-on insight into vessel systems and operations.
