Assignment Description

We are looking for a Senior Certification & Compliance Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on

• Ensure newly developed products and features comply with applicable global emission regulations at start of production.
• Safeguard emission compliance interests and legal prerequisites throughout development projects.
• Plan, organize, and execute emission certification testing activities leading to final certification approvals.
• Serve as the main contact for classification societies and regulatory authorities regarding emission certification.
• Lead preparation and submission of application documents to obtain emission certificates.
• Support colleagues and markets with questions related to emission certificates and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally within the Emission Compliance Group to support activities such as COP, PEMS, audits, and administrative tasks.

What you bring

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent education.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within emission certification, diesel engines, or emission testing.
• Knowledge of diesel engine technology, exhaust aftertreatment systems, and emission regulations.
• Experience in project management, technical documentation, and coordination with regulatory bodies.
• Familiarity with structured project management methodologies is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Swedish is desirable.
• Structured, detail-oriented, and proactive approach with strong organizational and networking abilities.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across teams and international interfaces.
