Assignment Description

We are looking for a Senior Java Backend Developer – DevOps & Cloud to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on

• Develop and maintain backend Java applications, contributing to the future of mobility.
• Participate in a diverse DevOps team working in two-week sprints and ten-week program increments.
• Take ownership of runtime environments, addressing operational and customer issues.
• Design, implement, and optimize microservices, ensuring scalability and performance.
• Collaborate on infrastructure as code and cloud solutions using AWS (Lambda, EC2, SQS, S3, etc.).
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases to support application requirements.
• Apply Agile practices to plan, develop, test, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, application profiling, load testing, and performance tuning as required.
• Contribute to connected applications within the automotive and mobility domain.

What you bring

• At least 5 years of experience in backend Java development.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and JMS.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure as code.
• Solid knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Agile and DevSecOps experience, including ownership of runtime environments.
• Understanding of microservices architecture, scalability, and load testing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bonus: experience with ASN1, MQTT, SMPP, UDP, automotive industry connectivity, Docker, Serverless development, CDK, and CI/CD pipelines.
