Your New Role 

Are you passionate about bridging technology and business strategy? Do you have the expertise to make IT investments more transparent, accountable, and aligned with business goals? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to play a key role in establishing a cutting-edge Technology Business Management (TBM) practice within a global retail organization.

Our client is building a new TBM Office from the ground up – a hub that will drive better IT decision-making and value realization across their organization. As their TBM Expert, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and embedding TBM processes and governance. You will also empower teams with the knowledge and tools they need to sustain these practices long-term.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and implement TBM processes aligned with industry best practices and the TBM Council framework.
• Define the mission, structure, and ways of working for the TBM Office.
• Guide knowledge transfer and train internal teams to build lasting TBM capabilities.
• Support tool configuration, including integration with financial and IT systems.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement and change management to ensure buy-in across IT, Finance, and the broader business.
• Deliver clear documentation, reporting templates, and tools to support ongoing TBM operations.

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

• Proven experience in TBM implementation and operations.
• Deep understanding of cost transparency, IT financial management, and value-based IT planning.
• Familiarity with the TBM tool Apptio and integration with ERP and ITSM systems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
