This Position reports to: Finance Manager.

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for handling and carrying out projects in the digital tools landscape for ABB. Your contributions will include managing and engineering applications for use in ABB while planning tasks and coordinating with stakeholders to carry out the project demands on the technical levels. You are responsible for managing and engineering the processes of order design in the fields of electrical engineering and product data management for Force Measurement products while delivering solid results in time and maintaining high quality based on the customer demands. You will apply state-of-the-art methods, tools, and practices to project management and technical work as well as coordinating and carrying out sprints and project backlogs in the form of Agile/Waterfall.

• You will perform on-time, on-cost, and on-quality integrations of the electrical design infrastructure into the ERP system.
• Carry out technical tasks for connecting the E2E integration of FME product design and IS processes.
• Communicate technical aspects of the projects to stakeholders and contributing to status reviews and in project meetings.
• Provide training and assistance to the rest of the electrical engineers who will be using the automated solutions.

Qualifications for the Role

• M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering, project management or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, diagrams, and principles of electrical engineering.
• Experience or knowledge of the metals industry and rolling mill processes are merits, as well as knowledge of design processes in the EPlan P8 Electrical engineering suite.
• Familiarity with the SAP ERP IS infrastructure is a merit.
• Good knowledge of project management methods such as Agile and Waterfall methods.
• You demonstrate initiative, creativity, attention to detail, and a collaborative, solution-focused approach with strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Fluent in English. Good knowledge of Swedish is also required but can be learned on the job.

ABB Force Measurement is a global supplier of advanced equipment and partner to metal and paper industries. You will be part of the project management office which takes responsibility for digital tools and automation projects. You will be based in Västerås, Sweden but will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid remote work environment.
