Are you a structured and technically skilled Project Manager who thrives at the intersection of customer needs and product development? We are looking for a Customer Project Manager based in Falun or Norrköping, to drive customer tailored product initiatives from early customer discussions to full-scale production.

In this role, you will ensure that customer requirements are translated into efficient, high-quality solutions—while minimizing impact on existing products and platforms.

What You Do

As Customer Project Manager, you will own and drive projects from opportunity evaluation through to running production. Your focus is to balance customer expectations with technical feasibility, cost efficiency, and product integrity.

You will:

• Lead and manage projects from early customer dialogue to production handover

• Provide technical input during customer agreement discussions to reduce complexity and variation

• Translate customer needs into clear, actionable specifications

• Plan, coordinate, and drive product realization together with cross-functional teams

• Estimate production, project, and maintenance costs to support business cases

• Identify risks and proactively manage obstacles throughout the project lifecycle

• Act as the main interface between customer, Pre-Sales, Technical Product Owner, development, operations, marketing, and support

• Ensure timely delivery within agreed scope, budget, and timeline

• Hand over product ownership to the Technical Product Owner at the Running Production phase

Your Skills

To succeed in this role, you bring both technical and project management expertise:

• Proven experience in project management, preferably within product development or engineering environments

• Solid engineering background or equivalent technical understanding

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Experience working with cross-functional teams and external clients

• Ability to manage scope, budget, and timelines effectively

• Experience in cost estimation and business case support is a plus

• Fluent in English (additional languages are beneficial)
