About the Role

This role is for you if you enjoy turning complex technical needs into clear product direction. You will work in an environment where large-scale services, heterogeneous systems, legacy platforms, cloud services and third-party applications need to work together reliably. The focus is on setting the right priorities, making trade-offs visible and helping cross-functional teams deliver real customer value.

As Product Owner, you will own the why, what and in what order for the team’s work. You will stay close to customers and stakeholders, make sure the teams understand context, goals, scope and the product domain, and help create momentum when dependencies or obstacles arise. It is an exciting opportunity to influence product direction in a technically advanced integration landscape.

Job Description

• You will define, shape and prioritize the product backlog based on customer value, technical feasibility and business goals.
• You will work closely with customers, stakeholders and delivery functions to keep priorities aligned and progress transparent.
• You will create shared understanding of context, goals, scope and product domain so the teams can make good decisions and deliver the intended value.
• You will act as a central connection point together with the Engineering Manager, Delivery Manager and Scrum Masters.
• You will help resolve problems and impediments across team, customer, delivery and company levels.
• You will contribute to ways of working, requirement work and change initiatives in your area.
• You will support architectural and technical discussions related to APIs, integrations and large-scale service environments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working as a Product Owner, or in a similar role, in high-performing cross-functional teams.
• Experience building and maintaining large-scale services, including challenges related to development, processes and operations.
• Ability to inspire, motivate and support teams to get things done.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain concepts and ideas to stakeholders and customers at all levels.
• Comfort facilitating and participating in architectural and technical discussions.
• Ability to influence decision-making at different levels of the organization and in different contexts.
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of software development processes and principles, including Agile and DevOps.
• Experience with API adaptor development connecting heterogeneous systems, including legacy platforms, cloud services and third-party applications.
• Strong understanding of REST, SOAP and event-driven architectures such as Kafka and MQTT.
• Experience from multi-team, microservice-based environments with security, compliance and scalability requirements.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
