PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Delivery Lead is the technology-side project manager, accountable for delivery execution with authority to structure, sequence, and coordinate delivery activities to achieve agreed outcomes and end-to-end technology delivery to enable product launches. The role provides delivery oversight from planning to release, ensuring predictable execution by aligning technology delivery with product direction, coordinating engineering and delivery contributors, and actively managing risks, dependencies and execution challenges.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB

- Own end-to-end delivery accountability for assigned products, from planning through launch and handover to operations.

- Drive delivery planning, forecasting, tracking and readiness alignment across technology domain.

- Actively manage delivery risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.

- Coordinate cross-functional execution across Product, Engineering, QA, Architecture, Business and Customer Teams.

- Lead launch coordination, ensuring alignment on scope, timing and readiness across all stakeholders for tech initiatives.

- Facilitate and support informed trade-off decisions between scope, timeline, and quality, ensuring visibility of implications and constraints.

- Own day-to-day delivery decisions related to planning, sequencing, coordinating, and execution approach, within agreed scope and priorities.

- Own delivery reporting and governance for assigned initiatives, ensuring accurate, transparent, and actionable insights to stakeholders.

- Escalate strategic trade-offs related to scope, priorities, or major constraints to Product and relevant senior stakeholders, providing clear recommendations based on delivery impact.

- Act as the primary coordination and escalation point for delivery risks, dependencies, and blockers within the initiative, ensuring timely resolution or structured escalation.

- Establish and facilitate regular stakeholder demos sessions to ensure transparency into delivery progress and readiness.

- Proven knowledge around RAID management and delivery governance structures.

- Awareness of agile delivery constructs.

Capabilities

- Able to coordinate and align multiple delivery contributors across functions.

- Ability to manage risks, dependencies and blockers proactively.

- Demonstrates strong stakeholder communication and facilitation skills.

- Able to drive readiness and launch coordination across technology.

- Capable of synthesising complex delivery information into clear status and insights.

Academic/Qualification Level

- University degree (bachelor’s degree or master’s degree) in technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

Language Competencies:

- Fluency in English.

Experience/Demonstrated competencies:

- Previous experience working at Ikano Bank is a strong advantage.

- Previous experience working in complex, cross-functional delivery environments involving product, engineering, architecture, QA and business stakeholders.

- Demonstrated experience in coordinating end-to-end delivery from planning to launch.
